Julianne Hough's Fans Surmise 'Faux Engagement' Photos 'Friendzoned' Tyler Lain
Julianne Hough has blessed her followers with a sweet birthday post for Tyler Lain. The post has fed into the dating rumors, although some fans are unconvinced and believe the actress is keeping him in the friend zone.
Dancer and actress Julianne Hough recently shared seven beautiful photos to her Instagram profile of herself and Tyler Lain on a beach. A few hours later, the post shared earlier today exceeded 125 thousand likes from Hough's 5.1 million followers.
In the post, we see the pair romantically hugging and leaning on each other, with Lain carrying the dancer in a couple of the photos. She wore a casual cream-and-black two-piece outfit, complimenting her companion's black shirt and beige shorts.
The caption revealed that the post was shared celebrating Lain's birthday. She wrote, "Happy Birthday to the most beautiful soul on the planet!" Then smothered him with many compliments about his good qualities and accredited him as the reason New York City feels like home.

Despite the evident romantic chemistry in the photos, some commenters agreed that the actress was certifying Lain in the friend zone. "Friend zoned on IG!" someone exclaimed, followed by a comment from another user agreeing with the allegation, saying, "yup. Friend zoned lol."

Lain is an actor most recognized for his role as Young Rick in three episodes of the 2016 series "Animal Kingdom" previously starring Ellen Barkin. Some of his other roles include playing the record label associate in "The Heights."
Hough sparked rumors about her relationship with Lain when she reposted a set of photos shared by Lain to her Instagram story. The post included the first photo from her recent birthday post. She added the text "my love" to the now-deleted story, sparking rumors of her relation to the actor.
The couple then followed that post with a few more on different occasions, almost feeding into the dating rumors without confirming or denying the nature of their association. Their acquaintance has continued this year, and the pair seem closer than ever.
